forest-footfall

“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.” – John Muir

I took inspiration from a trip to the Millaa Millaa falls in Australia.  I loved trekking through the forest and coming upon some beautiful deserted waterfalls.  I wanted to use the colour of the water with the dappled light from the trees in this portrait.  She’s painted onto a hand stretched canvas which is signed on the front.
