“So I try to say goodbye, my friend, I’d like to leave you with something warm. But never have I been a blue calm sea, I have always been a storm.” – Fleetwood Mac

Midsummer Storm is painted in colours of Spring and new beginnings.   I visited Gorge de Verdon in France and fell in love with the lavender found during each walk. Inspiration came from April showers and feeling refreshed.  Looking forward to what the rest of the year had to bring.  Feathers and foliage adorn her hairs she moves forward.   She’s painted onto a hand stretched canvas with is signed on the front.
