“To see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour” – William Blake
The lotus flower grows from the bottom of streams and muddy ponds to rise above the water and bloom. It symbolically represents being fully grounded in earth, yet aspiring towards the divine. Growing from below the figure sits on top of the lotus flower. She’s painted on a birch wood panel which is signed on the front.
