This painting was part of a mini series made for International Women’s Day. The portrait shows our strength and femininity, our ability to bloom and flourish through life ups and downs. I want to create a positive portrait of women, to make them feel like anything is possible. It was in an exhibition at the Ollie Quinn flagship store in Covent Garden, London. I layered oils with spray paint to create a really soft feeling. The vibrant colours give life to wherever she hangs. Shards of silver from the mirror sparkle as the light shines on it. She also features in our International Women’s Day blog post.
Its painted on a framed circular mirror, which comes ready to hang. Its signed on the front and comes with some beautiful cards that can be framed or sent to friends. The painting will be delivered professionally packed for safe shipment. I ship free worldwide, as I want to be able to share my work with everyone.
